On April 20, 2007, the
Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Sterling Chemicals, Inc.
approved increases in the base salaries of the executive officers listed below,
retroactively effective to March 1, 2007. The new base salary and the
amount of the increase over the previous year’s base salary for each of these
executive officers are as follows:
