Our plasticizers business involves the production of phthalate esters, commonly referred to as plasticizers, from phthalic anhydride and oxo-alcohols. All of our plasticizers, which are use to make flexible plastics such as shower curtains and liners, floor coverings, automotive parts and construction materials, are sold to BASF Corporation pursuant to a long term production agreement that extends until 2013. The plasticizers that we produce are used to make flexible plastics, such as shower curtains, floor coverings, automotive parts and construction materials. Major competitors for production of plasticizers are ExxonMobil, Eastman Chemical Company and BASF Corporation.
